# Introducing Findora AI Visual Search App

Findora adds AI-powered visual search to your Shopify store. When a shopper has a photo from social media, a screenshot, or their camera but does not know the product name or the right search terms, Findora lets them upload that image and instantly see visually similar products from your catalog.

The app complements your existing text search and theme. It does not replace anything, it gives your customers one more way to find and buy products.

## How Findora works

1. Findora app can present on your storefront in 3 display styles: an independence section, a sticky icon or an icon with popover.
2. They upload an image or take a photo with their device camera.
3. Findora processes the image, creates an AI embedding, and compares it against your indexed product catalog.
4. The shopper sees a ranked grid of visually similar, purchasable products from your store.
5. They click a result to go straight to the product page.

Behind the scenes, Findora indexes your eligible product images automatically after installation and keeps the index synchronized whenever you add, update, or remove products. The full-resolution query image is never stored. It is processed and discarded immediately after the search.
