Troubleshooting and FAQs
Why does the Dashboard show No data?
AgentWatch uses completed-day aggregate reporting. No data can be valid when the store has no AI-referred activity, Shopify has not made the report available, or the first analytics sync has not run.
Try these steps:
- Open Settings and run Sync 30 completed days.
- Open Health and run Run health checks.
- Review Shopify analytics access and Global Catalog analytics.
- Check the latest sync timestamp on the Dashboard.
No data is not converted into zero and is not treated as an outage.
Why is the live analytics card unavailable?
The live card requires embedded Shopify analytics access, the required report permission, and Shopify approval for the relevant protected data access.
Run Health and inspect Shopify analytics access. If it remains blocked, contact AgentWatch Support because the app provider might need to complete a Shopify access or deployment requirement.
Why is the Products page empty?
The store might have no product-level Global Catalog search requests for the selected period. This does not prove that products were removed from Global Catalog.
Run an analytics sync, try a longer range, check the Health page, and verify the product's Active and publication state in Shopify Admin.
Why does Product visibility show Unknown?
AgentWatch needs an active merchant-owned product for a safe read-only lookup. If none is available, it reports Unknown rather than incorrectly reporting a failure.
Why did a health warning not create an incident?
A single health failure does not open an incident. The same eligible check must fail twice consecutively for Warning and three times for Critical. Some setup conditions, such as blocked analytics access or no active product, are not eligible for automatic incidents.
Why did a large percentage drop not create an incident?
Traffic and catalog incidents require eight consecutive completed days and a minimum seven-day median baseline. The minimum is 20 sessions for a channel and 100 requests for Global Catalog. Missing history and low-volume signals are not treated as outages.
Why did I not receive an email alert?
Check that:
- The alert email is correct.
- Enable email alerts is selected.
- The relevant alert category is selected.
- The incident opened, escalated to Critical, or recovered automatically.
- The message is not in a spam or filtering folder.
Manual resolution and routine monitoring runs do not send alerts. Open the incident and check Alert delivery for its recorded status.
What does a Partial job mean?
One or more upstream reads failed while another source succeeded. AgentWatch retains previously good data instead of replacing it with an incomplete result. Wait and rerun the operation. If it repeats, contact support with the job time and a diagnostic packet from any related incident.
Why do I need to wait before running an operation again?
Manual sync, health, and incident-evaluation operations have a one-minute cooldown. This prevents accidental duplicate work and avoids unnecessary requests to Shopify.
Why does the plan show $0 and Free to test?
You are using an eligible Shopify development store. Shopify creates a no-charge test subscription while preserving the regular price for production stores.
Does AgentWatch fix an incident automatically?
No. AgentWatch observes signals, records evidence, and reports recovery. It does not change products, themes, store configuration, or external AI services.
What should I include in a support request?
Include:
- The Shopify store domain.
- The approximate time the issue occurred.
- The affected AgentWatch page.
- The latest sync or health-run timestamp.
- The copied diagnostic packet when an incident exists.
Do not include passwords, Shopify access tokens, API keys, payment information, or customer data. Use the support address in the AgentWatch App Store listing.
